Look what Kathryn found

Just wanted to post this real quick, one of my favorite baby moments. I just love seeing them find their feet for the first time, it is so cute! Kathryn found hers today and has been studying it like crazy...too funny!

Christmas with Bethany

Bethany came over this week to have a Christmas girls’ night with us. I don’t usually think to take pictures when Bethany comes over... we try to have a girls’ night with her a few times a month (in fact there were several Wednesday nights where I swore she was a saint for sticking around to help with bedtime while Dean was teaching), but I snapped a few of Kathryn & her Godmother thought I’d share. Also-- check out the remote control car Bethany and Juan gave Quinn with--she LOVES it!!

Rudolph

Wow, what a crazy month we have had!! We are REALLY in the Christmas spirit here at the Driskell House--- we have been making cookies, gingerbread houses, gingerbread man pancakes, we have seen Santa THREE times now, we are wrapping and unwrapping gifts like no tomorrow, we have been to a Christmas play, a few parties already and we aren't even close to being done with Christmas! I'll try to do a couple of catch-up posts today to show you all of the fun we have been having, but for now-- enjoy this!

I woke up to hearing Quinn singing this morning, she has really been into Christmas music lately. A few weeks back I was over the roof in excitement, thinking I had taught her "Jingle Bells" in 5 minutes. Yesterday, I learned that they had been practicing it in school for their Christmas party! Anyway, this is what she was singing this morning...

Quinn's school Christmas

Quinn had her Christmas party at school this week and I was SOOO excited to hear that parents were invited for lunch. It was really cute to see her playing with her little friends. We had lunch, decorated cookies and at the end, they surprised us by singing “Jingle Bells”. Here, I had thought I taught her that song in 5 minutes & I realized she had been learning it at school for weeks!

Christmas with MomMom

We received a package from MomMom N and just couldn’t wait, and we were so glad we opened it early! Here are a couple of pictures of the girls, but our favorite was this star ornament. MomMom wrote us a little note “hang this on your tree, then I know you will be thinking of me”! Thanks MomMom, love and miss you--can’t wait to see you!!
