Kathryn is FOUR!

I don't even know where to start on updating you on Kathryn.  She has grown SO MUCH over the last year.  She is still as sweet as can be.... she tells me, unprompted, every single day how much she loves me.  She won't get dressed or leave her room in the mornings without saying good morning to me through the monitor.  She always needs a morning snuggle and doesn't go to sleep without a proper hug and a kiss from mommy and daddy "talking to her animals".  She is in love with dogs-- she has both a stuffed and a miniature dog collection and keeps them very organized in her room.  She is so supportive to others, always telling me and her sister how pretty we are and what a good job we are doing.

She adores her big sister but also loves some "mommy alone time" too.  But don't let all of this fool you, our cutie pie can be cranky too.  it is adorable, she has such a cute pouty face! and she is always trying to get away with something.  I have walked into her room several times to have her greet me with "NOTHING"!!! before i even say a word.  Usually it has something to do with coloring on things besides paper, or spilling nasal spray all over the place ;)

She has really come out of her shell at school-- she has loads of friends and actively participates in class.  Her best friend at school is "little Quinn", who in turn calls Kathryn "Little Kathryn".  They love bringing toys to school to let each other borrow them for a day or two.  She is very smart too, she learned her address and phone number before her 4th birthday and can spell her first and last name and do some basic addition.  Her teachers tell us no need to even consider holding her back (her late birthday). She loves tennis, but is hesitant to go sometimes lately because she doesn't like being called a "lefty".

Her stats from her last checkup: height: 37.5", 10th percentile; weight 33lbs, 50th percentile.

For her birthday this year she wanted a pool party with all of her friends and she wanted to invite the newest Disney princesses, Anna and Elsa from Frozen.  We let her make the guest list and she made sure all of her favorite buddies were on the list (pictures from that will come later ;)

On her actual birthday I took her to to the grocery store and she chose the desert.  Her dinner of choice was (no surprise) spaghetti and meatballs.  It was a great day!
