Girls Weekend

Just got back from a wonderful girls weekend at Lake Anna, VA! The WVU girls & their children. So much fun and a huge THANK YOU to our gracious hosts, the Ficks. What a beautiful house & sooo much fun!

Quinn & I made the trip on Thursday night. On Friday we were up early for breakfast on the patio.

While Quinn was napping Mrs Fick offered her services for monitor duty so Michele, Taylor & I could take the Jet skies out for a ride. Sooo much fun. Although I hung on for dear life while Taylor was behind me standing up with no hands!

The rest of the girls came in Friday afternoon & we had a blast catching up.

Saturday we had the bridal shower & took the kids out on the boat, Quinn LOVED it!!

Saturday night Mr Fick took us out for a nighttime view of the lake, while Mrs Fick again listened out for Quinn on the monitor.

What a great way to end a great weekend... can't wait to see what we get into next year!!

Crawling, clapping, & finding her tummy

This afternoon we were practicing crawling (had to take off her dress because her legs kept getting caught in it). Quinn was being too funny. She would crawl and then stop to clap for herself. In the video below, she finds her tummy while clapping...

Tear Duct

Today was Quinn's surgery on her tear duct. As the doctors promised, it was fairly painless (both on us parents & Quinn). It took about 15 minutes total-- when the nurses took her away to go into the surgery, she didn't even look back... After the surgery her biggest concern was having some formula. By the end of the day, she was back to normal!

Play date & catch-up

Today we went for a birthday play date for the Barr girls. Quinn had a blast playing with all of the "big kids"!

Quinn's First Trip to PA & NJ

Quinn & Mommy took a girls' trip this past weekend. We flew into Pennsylvania, where we met Aunt Lauren & Nana Quinn (or Nan, we are still working on that). We stayed with Aunt Chris, Uncle Chuck, & Christian and had a GREAT weekend!

We went to visit Aunt Denise, Uncle Dan, Becky, & some of the Hill kids first, we were still unpacked from the plane ride, so no pics of them :(

We went to see MomMom & Pop Nakrasius & they were beyond thrilled to see their first great grandchild!

MomMom Quinn quickly found the way to Quinns heart.... cookies!

She had a blast seeing all of the Quinn kids

and had so much fun meeting some more of the Hill Kids

What a great weekend with the family!!

And on Saturday night, Quinn stayed home with Nan, Aunt Laur, & Aunt Chris, while Mommy went to Dierdre's wedding!
