where the magic begins...

I can't believe our time at Disney has already come and gone!! What a magical, wonderful trip we had! It was all that we had hoped for and more!  I originally tried to cram the entire trip into 1 post but I couldn't decide which pictures to leave out so this will be part 1 of 4 ;)  And I will go ahead & warn you, these are certainly not the best quality of photographs but I wanted to include everything to help us remember every detail of this trip!

As soon as we checked in we were told that we were the Contemporary's "Family of the Day" so everyone immediately made a huge fuss over us, taking pictures, giving us balloons, upgrading our room, our names were on all of the big screens-- what a welcome!! As soon as we checked out our room, we raced right over to the Magic Kingdom to get a look at the Castle up close!  The park was perfect, we made a huge dent in our checklist that night and I don't think we waited more than a couple minutes for anything.

The girls were in awe the entire time.

Our first stop had been planned way in advance thanks to our fast pass++! We went straight through the park to see Quinn's favorite princess, Belle in her show "The Enchanted Tales with Belle", where Quinn landed the starring role as "Teapot"

Kathryn also got to be a part of the parade

this is when we told Kathryn our next stop was to her very favorite--- Cinderella

after we had her sign the books and take pictures, Kathryn got her own private dance

Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty

Snow White

making Rapunzel laugh

Daddy took the girls on the carousel

it's a small world

Teacups

it was at this moment we learned how very much Quinn is like her daddy--- she LOVES to go FAST!!

We certainly made the most of our partial day, so glad we went as soon as we got in-- we saw so many princesses, rode a ton of rides, had dinner and rode even more rides, but after it got dark we started winding down.  Here we are, girls relaxing some and heading to catch some of the Electrical Parade, Mickey Ice Cream treats in hand!

After seeing most of the parade, we hopped on the monorail, gave the girls a quick bath and finished in time to see the fireworks from our balcony before they discovered the wonderful, 5 minute, bedtime Duffy the Bear Show.
