Quinn's recital & visit from Nana, Aunt Chrissy & Uncle Charlie!

A few days after school let out we had a few special visitors show up-- and how happy we were to see them!! Nana, Aunt Chrissy & Uncle Charlie came for a visit and what fun we had!

OK- here we go with Quinn's recital pictures, they did not allow video or pictures during the actual recital so some of these pictures are from the dress rehearsal and some are from the recital

and here is the video-- it is of the dress rehearsal and pretty shaky.  i was juggling the camera, Kathryn & the video recorder on my own, so I'd say it was a miracle I had it turned on Quinn most of the time!

and this was Quinn at lunch after the recital!  I thought she was sick-- she climbed up in my lap and slept through lunch.  and when we got up to go, she woke right up & asked why we were leaving?! by the time we were home, she was her normal, silly self.  SweetiePie just wore herself out dancing!

Kathryn's Dance recital

Here are the pictures of Kathryn's first dance recital (video is at the end).  She did so great and was very happy with herself! She was thrilled to get up on the "big stage"like she had seen her sister do for dress rehearsal.  No dress rehearsal for these kiddos though, they hopped right up on stage and took care of business!

look at the beautiful costumes, what a surprise!! Miss Pam did this all on her own and the Mommies and babies were so surprised! If you see the video, you'll see Kathryn couldn't stop checking out her new outfit :)

here we are a few days later at the last dance class/graduation.  We love you Miss Pam and couldn't imagine a better dance teacher for our babies!!

Good Job KK!! We are so proud of you!

monkey's last day

Kathryn has yet to meet an activity she doesn't thoroughly enjoy.  She looks forward to every swim lesson, dance class, school day... but as of right now, gymnastics (or fynnastics, combo of fantastic gymnastics, as she calls it) is her absolute FAVORITE! It might just be that it is HER thing (Quinn wasn't too fond of it so she hasn't signed up again) or it might be that she is really good at it, or maybe it has something to do with the sparkly leotard, but I'm guessing it is a combination of all of the above.  

On the last day of class, Mommies (and siblings) are allowed to watch.  School was out at this point, so I was lucky enough to have our very own videographer attend with me.  

Here are the pictures I took and at the end, I'll add a link to Quinn's video-- she filmed it all by herself and took great pride in running after her sister, making sure she documented every step.  Wonder where she got that from??!

Great job KK, we are so proud of you!! Now, we just need to get through the summer so you can start classes again-- just hope our house holds up, because we all know how hard it is for you to resist "practicing" every chance you can get!
