Purse obsession and 13 week bump!

Well, Quinn has started early with her love of accessories.  These days her favorite toys are her purses, and she likes to take them everywhere (hmm.. wonder where she gets that?!).  Her favorite thing is to see how many she can carry and walk (on her knees) around the house.  Here are a few cute pictures

Quinn @ 15 months, Baby @ 12.5 weeks, and a playdate!

Well, Quinn recently hit the15 month mark.  The doctor said she is still doing great! 22.13 lbs (40%), 31" (70%), and 60% for  her head measurements.

Baby Driskell just had his/her check-up and second ultrasound today and is also doing great--measuring perfectly for a due date of August 2nd!  Oh, and I did ask the ultrasound tech if she had a gender guess and she wouldn't even attempt.  Meanie even took away the leg shots so I couldn't get a good look!! The nurse said she has had a bad track record in guessing the sex and many moms have gotten frustrated with her--oh well, we have our 3d ultrasound scheduled for February 18th, so we should know by then!


This week we also had a fun playdate with Blair!  We had a picnic and played at the park as you can see, the girls had a blast.

First Haircut!

Quinn's hair has been a little out of control lately, and after promising her daddy a million times that there would be no bowls involved, we decided to go for her first haircut!

Quinn did great, she was a little nervous at first and preferred to sit on my lap, but by the end she had warmed up and was all smiles-- she even let us blow dry her hair!


Her hair looks much shorter (to me) now, but is also fuller and much less "scraggly".  All in all, a good haircut, and especially for how much this little one was moving her head around, I'm amazed her hair is even!!


They even gave her a little certificate, which Quinn was VERY proud of...

Snow and update since Christmas

We had snow here in Alpharetta! Not much, but enough of a dusting to send the rest of Atlanta into a panic & raiding the grocery stores.

Well, Quinn learned quite a bit over Christmas....

we are still working on taking some of the decorations down, so whenever we pass one (be it a snow man or Santa), she says "Sata"(Santa) and then "ho, ho, ho"!

when she wants us to open something (her drum set, box of blocks, etc..) she says "aaahhh" (like when we were opening presents) and signs "please"...

EVERY night when we are getting her ready for bed, she sits on the floor pointing to the cd player and waves her arms in the air until we play her some music. Then, she has her own personal dance party, it is pretty cute.

And Quinn got a new pair of kicks! Here are a couple of pictures in her new sneakers. They were a little awkward at first, but she LOVES them, she points to Mommy & Daddy's sneakers and loves it when we are all wearing them!
