It's Almost Easter Time!!

Well, Quinn is super-psyched that it is almost Easter.  At least once a day she tells me,  “It’s almost Easter Time!!” Although, she doesn’t really understand what that means...

Earlier this week I got the plastic eggs and baskets out and both girls have been having fun with them (above, I think Quinn was getting some last minute practice in before we left for the hunt). 

Anyway, we started our Easter celebrations off this past weekend with an Easter egg hunt at the Governor’s mansion. The hunt was during Kathryn’s naptime, so we took a few pictures before we left.  Both of her front lower teeth are popping through so she has been a little cranky for the past few days, but you’d probably never notice, she is still SUCH a happy, sweet baby it is hard for me to believe how lucky I am!! 

Some updates

Well, I haven’t posted in a while, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy!  Here are a few cute pictures to show what we have been up to...

Here were a couple of shots I took the day I posted the last video.  Kathryn is still practicing her crawling, she definitely gets where she wants to go!  And Quinn is right there with her, cheering her on, or in this case, taking pictures with her Elmo camera!

This was Quinn’s picture day at school and of course I couldn’t resist taking a few shots before we dropped her off...

Ugh, and here was a day I will never forget...Quinn gave us quite a scare the other night. She had some kind of allergic reaction, to what we aren’t sure and hope to find out at her allergist appointment on Wednesday.  She ended up with swollen lips, eyes and nose and a rash, so the two of us spent a few hours at the emergency room that night.  Here she is the next day, recovering well and after very little sleep, she still wanted a say in her outfit to wear to her pediatrician's followup.  I had swore these outfits would never make it out of the house, but if any, this was a day to give...

Here we are unpacking my summer clothes, Quinn of course wanted to try everything on, immediately.  Kathryn enjoyed watching...

so cute! how fun that they are really "playing" together. and i just love that they are so drastically different - just like audrey and mallory - and just as we guessed! i hope to see you guys soon!

Scooting and Cheering

Kathryn is still working on her crawling, she is doing a great job! It is so cute to watch. She is able to scoot her knees forward now, but isn’t quite sure what to do with her hands once she does that (hence all of her mini breaks). Quinn recently found one of our Auburn shakers and her new favorite thing to do is to cheer on her sister.
