Welcome Quinn!!

We are so happy to welcome Quinn Ashlyn Driskell to the world. Our beautiful baby girl arrived right on time, 5:13 AM on her due date, October 7, 2008. Labor was quicker than expected (after nurses told me to have a good night's sleep with my 2 ambien, I was in labor before I knew what was going on. Dean was a great Daddy from the start, anything mom or the new little one needed, we had-- including the first diaper change!!

We had lots of visits from friends & family in the hospital- including Shawn & Kelly, Juan & Bethany, Nana Kat & Aunt Kelly, Bamba, and Mom's work friends, Carol & Kristen.

Time to take her home! We were very ready to get home & settled!

36 weeks pregnant, we went for a second round of 3D ultrasound pictures (thanks to the very anxious daddy ;) The pictures weren't as easy to see as the last round, she doesn't have too much room in there, so she is kind of smushed!

Baby Shower & Dean's 40th

We had lots of visitors & a busy weekend! This weekend we had a baby shower (thanks to the girls- Beth, Bethany, Caol, & Kelly) for our new little one & we also celebrated Dean's 40th birthday! Dean's family all made the trip and we had a great weekend with our family & friends!

Cypress Dunes, 2008

What a great fourth of July week! We spent the week with our good friends the McGraths & the Verdigets at Cypress Dunes (near Destin), in Florida. We were lucky enough to be at the beach for the fourth of July & also to celebrate Dean's birthday with Kat, Sister, Henry, & lots of cousins!
